Réunion chikungunya gendarmes comparative cohort (Marimoutou)

source record (JSON) · schema v2.0.0 · CC BY 4.0

Design notes & limitations. Comparative cohort of 85 CHIKV-infected vs 297 uninfected gendarmes assessed 30 months after the outbreak, with occupationally comparable unexposed controls and lower quality of life plus higher rheumatic, headache and fatigue morbidity in the infected. One of the strongest comparative symptom datasets in the chikungunya literature; per-symptom prevalence percentages are reported in the paper's tables (behind a subscription) and have not yet been extracted, so symptom_findings are intentionally empty pending full-text verification.
