PREVAIL III Ebola Survivor Cohort

source record (JSON) · schema v2.0.0 · CC BY 4.0

Design notes & limitations. Large observational natural-history cohort with a close-contact comparator, banked specimens, and up to 5 years of 6-monthly follow-up. Documented ocular (uveitis), musculoskeletal, neurologic and other sequelae plus viral persistence in immune-privileged sites. n_enrolled shown is the target survivor count; ~1,126 survivors enrolled by 2017 (plus ~2,700 contacts). Quantitative findings pending human extraction from source tables.
